Easter/Hot Dog Roast!
We had a great Easter! Kenzlee got to have two easter egg hunts and loved both of them. She would find an egg and start shaking it knowing there was coins inside. She would go find another one and pick it up and put her arm out like “Look what I found.” I love watching her grow and learn new things on her own.
Before we had the easter egg hunt at my parents we went outside on the deck to blow bubbles. The girls were laughing and loving every second of it.
Easter at the Peay’s
We went down to Provo to have a hot dog roast with the Peay side of the family. Josh and I headed down after work and met Kenz and Cindy who were already down there at Grandma Peay’s house. We slept over and hung out Saturday morning listening to General Conference and getting things ready for the roast.
Kenz got to pet and sit on a pony. I wasn’t sure how she would react sitting on it and her expression is exactly how I thought she would react. Maybe she will like it when she is older.

As of late…
We have had quite the week and weekend. Filled with lots of fun activities and some scary moments.
Last Sunday around 2:30am Josh got up to use the bathroom. He woke me up right before because he was going through the covers on our bed. I woke up thinking “what is he doing,” but didn’t ask him anything and closed my eyes hoping to return into a slumber. He got up and next thing I knew I was jumping out of bed running to the bathroom. As I laid in bed I heard this huge crash in the bathroom while Josh was in there. I didn’t even hesitate I ran in there so fast and while I was doing that the noise had woke up Kenzlee so she started crying. I ran into the bathroom to find Josh on his back and his head in the shower (we don’t have a tub it’s a single shower) and blood was everywhere as well as my makeup which was half in the shower and half next to him all over the floor. I picked up his head to try and wake him up and my hand was filled with blood. He started shaking as he was waking up (kind of like a seizure) and he came too. I asked him what happened and he wasn’t sure. I helped him up and immediately saw a pool of blood on our shower curtain and then I saw the back of his head and it was covered in blood. He was putting pressure on it cuz it was still bleeding. I told him we needed to take him to the instacare. None were open so I ended up taking him to McKay Dee to the ER. He ended up getting stitches. They asked him what happened and all he can remember was getting up to use the bathroom and he didn’t feel so good. He thought to himself I’m almost done he just needed to wash his hands and next thing he knew I was over him trying to wake him up. He had passed out. That’s never happened to him before. We were so lucky because it could have been so much worse. Especially the way he landed in the shower and he didn’t even have a concussion. He remembered his name/birthdate/work etc. He has been doing great and I have put a pillow there in the mean time. It freaked me out and that just eases my mind if something else is there just in case it happens again which I hope NOT!!
So that was the scary moment, now for the fun things we have been up to.
We went to the Olive Garden and Josh introduced Kenzlee to a straw. She loves drinking out of it. She is getting so big.
Over President’s Day we hung out with Aunt Megan. She came up from Provo and we went to Zupas, Living Planet Aquarium, Scheels and then shopping. Grandpa Kevin joined us for lunch. It was a really fun day.
All the Peay girls got together for craft night thanks to our MIL Cindy. We made Burlap Heart Wreaths and they turned out so cute!! Thanks to Pinterest! I love mine and it was a blast getting together and having a girls night and catching up, laughing and eating Pizza.
